General
Bestelbox makes a distinction between unit Price and order unit.
- The unit price is always a piece or weight.
- The unit price is always connected to an order unit. This goes according to a coding. The code must always be included in a field that goes with the export.
The coding
- Price unit “unit”
- Code 0: units
- Price unit “weighed”
- Code 1: kg bulk packaged
- Code 2: portioning with changeable weight
- Code 3: portioning with standard weight
- Code 4: kg/portioning product can be ordered as kilogram or portion weight
- Code 5: kg/unit product can be ordered as kilogram or units
- Code 6 unit but with unit price kg
Price unit “units”
Code 0: units
The order unit “units” can be ordered as a whole, except for the standard name units it’s possible that they have a different name like: box, bush, can, bag or crate etc. For these kinds of orders units a 0 must be used.
Price unit “weighed”
Code 1: kg a bulk package
This goes for products that can only be ordered as bulk in kilograms. For these kinds of orders units a 1 must be used.
Code 2: portioning with changeable weight
These are products where the customer can change the weight and add these to his order list. These are products like: portioned beef, and portioned salmon steaks. For these kinds of orders units a 2 must be used.
Code 3: portioning with standard weight
These products are weighed and can’t be changed by the customer. Usually this is an indicative weight given by the supplier. This goes for products like: a piece of shoulder ham of 5, 0 kg. These products are always weighed again by the supplier. For these order units you must use a 3.
Code 4: kg/portion product can be ordered as kilogram or portioned weighed
With this option the customer can choose if he wants to order the product as kg or portioned. As shown in the example it is possible to order 10 kilo meatloaf or portioned 500 gram a piece. For these kinds of order units a 4 is used
Code 5: kg/unit product can be ordered as kilogram or a unit
Products where it’s difficult to give an indicative weighed can be given the option kg or unit. These products can be ordered a kilo or unit. (The unit price is in kg). For these kinds of order units a 5 is used.
Code 6: units but with a unit price in kg
As shown in the example, a whole trout can only be ordered as a unit but the price is based on the weighed in kilograms. For these kinds of order units a 6 is used.
